Also in 1989, Kim Je Eun began an important chapter of his professional life in IBM Research and Development, where he remained until 2006, gaining extensive experience as a certified information technology professional. In 2002, his professional journey also included Harvard Business School (HBS), as recorded in his professional history.

This represents approximately 17 years connected to IBM R&D, a period that spanned one of the most profound technological transformations in contemporary history: the expansion of personal computers, the internet, corporate connectivity, and the digitalization of business processes.
Later, Kim Je Eun took on senior management responsibilities, serving as a Senior Executive and Head of the Information Technology Division at a KOREAL Group company.
